Notification for Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TN-SET) for Assistant Professorship
Annamalai University has released a notification for the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TN-SET) 2021 for Assistant Professor. TN-SET 2021 Application form has been started from 7th June, 2021. Educational qualification, Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Application fee details have been given in the official notification. Eligible candidates can apply for this post through only Online mode
Tamil Nadu State
Eligible Test (TN-SET) is a state-level entrance exam that will be
conducted for 26 subjects. Candidates who clear this exam will be
qualified for Assistant Professor in various Colleges and Universities
(Private/Government/Aided).
Last Date :
The application process started on 07.06.2021. The last date to apply for online registration is till 07.07.2021. Eligible candidates can apply for this post before the closing date.
Application Mode : Online Mode
Eligible candidates may apply for this post through online mode on or before 07.07.2021. The online registration including Edit / Modification will be announced later in the official website.
Recruitment Details :
Assistant Professorship : TN-SET exam will be conducted in General Studies and 26 Subjects. If the candidate has cracked this exam will be recruited for Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges (Government/Private/Aided).
Age Qualification :
There is no Upper age limit for TN-SET Examination.
Educational Qualifications :
Candidates must completed Master's Degree or equivalent degree with 55% marks without rounding off from recognized board or university. Candidates belonging to third gender will be eligible with same relaxation in fee, age and qualifying marks

General Candidates - Rs. 1500/-
BC / BCM / MBC / DNC - Rs. 1250/-
SC / SCA / ST / PwD / Transgender - Rs.500/-
Payment Mode : Credit cards, Debit card, Internet Banking,
Exam Pattern :
Paper 1 : 100 Marks - 50 MCQ's
Paper 1 is common for all subjects with bi-lingual (English and Tamil)
Paper 2 : 200 Marks - 100 MCQ's
Paper 2 is for main subjects with bi-lingual (English and Tamil)
No Negative for wrong answers.

Exam Centres
The candidates can choose any one of the centres for the exam. The list of centres and centre code has been given below:
Chidambaram (11), Chennai (12), Coimbatore (13), Erode (14), Karaikudi (15), Madurai (16), Salem (17), Thanjavur (18), Trichy (19), Tirunelveli (20), Vellore (21), Villupuram (22).
Note: Exam Centre once selected is final and will not be able to change.
How to apply :
1. Candidates are requested to visit the official website.
2. Click Registration for a new candidate. Enter valid Email id and Password. A confirmation mail will be sent to the registered Email id.
3. Now login with Email Id and Password.
4.
Fill up your application with full details and upload needed documents
(Passport size Photo, Signature with black ink, Community Certificate)
using that user id and password.
5. Make payment through Net Banking / Credit card
/ Debit card.
6. Finally, download the application for future use.
Note: Make Changes before submitting the application. Once the application has been submitted, changes will not be allowed.
Exam Date - will be announced later on the official website.
Hall Ticket - Hall Ticket will be available later on the official website.
